This is our place! We live in a small city of around 17,000 people. There are many opportunities to get involved in children's recreational programs and sports teams. Our house is two blocks from the beach, and we spend a lot of time playing at the park and in the water there. We are also a short walk from a marina and restaurants.
Our house has a big fenced yard with lots of grass, a patio, and vegetable and flower gardens. We are just a short walk from three different neighbourhood parks. With four bedrooms upstairs, we have plenty of room in our house for our family to grow!
We have an awesome community of friends and family! We are members of an Alliance church, and attend every Sunday and are in a community group that meets once per week. We have a lot of support for our adoption through the church and our friends here. Our children attend Sunday school and vacation Bible school. It is very important to us that our children are raised knowing about the Lord and His love for them.
My family is all in the Edmonton/Central Alberta area and Ben's family is all in BC. There are nine other children on my side of the family, and two other children on Ben's side. We spend a lot of time camping and visiting with my side of the family in the summer and on holidays, and visit Ben's family in BC about once a year. We are so thankful for the support we have received from our families as we pursue adoption!
